Showroom showcasing office furniture

Completed in 2023, this inspiring collaboration with Kantoor Kunst and Studio Wüst  came to fruition when Interstuhl’s asked us to update their showroom and re-think the display of their innovative and design led furniture for the (home) office. Unchanged for the last 15 years, the showroom was testament to the design trends at the time: mostly in white, the symmetrical layouts and impractical seating blocked light and views to the outside. It displayed the brand’s products in a rather outdated way and the overall experience of the spaces were uninviting and lacked soul. The layout was re-configured in a more organic way. Existing structures were replaced with multi-functional raised areas incorporating seating, planters and display elements showcasing the various products. The central bar remained but was transformed by cladding the surfaces in kit kat style glossy tiles to a backdrop of timber slats curving into the central unit, the bar now feels fresh and modern. Overall, a layered and updated colours palette was introduced, to bring warmth to the 300m2 + space. Throughout, The lush greenery, designed and supplied by Studio Wüst, adds another texture and shows how greenery around an office environment brings a positive impact the overall enjoyment of the space.
